Hi

My name is Tanya and I am the owner and day to day manager at TJ Kids Home from Home In The Community.

I set up this service in 2010 to ensure the continuation of the much loved Home from Home service that has been running out of school care in Cambridge for over 25 years.

I have extensive experience of working within community development and specifically working with children, young people and families.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Playwork, qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader, Level 5 Trauma Informed Schools Practioner, Mental Health Practioner and UEFA B Level 3 Football Coach.

I am the Lead Paediatric First Aider and Lead Designated Person for the service.

I am passionate about my role and strive to make our clubs the best they can be for the families that use us. We care about what our participants and parent/carers need and adapt what we deliver accordingly.

I like films, food and fun

Hi

Iam Val and I am the Deputy Manager at TJ Kids.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Playwork, I am a qualified Paediatric First Aider and a Designated Person.

I have worked with children and young people for over 25 years and for Home from Home for over 14 years.

We take great pride in working as a team to provide the best possible environment for children to get the best out of their play.

My favourite colour is purple and I really love cats (and chocolate)

Hi

My name is Mel and I have been a Play Worker for TJ Kids since 2010.

I am a Level 2 Forest School Assistant and love the creativity and ethos that this brings to our clubs.

I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have attended the PARS Master Class training.

As a former gymnast, I understand when children have energy to use. We have a wide range of resources and equipment to meet the needs of our parcipants.

We welcome children to take part in the activities that suit them on the day. From Jedi training to laying outside in the grass reading a book.

Hi

My name is Sam and I am a Senior Play worker here at TJ KIDS.

I am a Level 3 Forest School Leader, Designated Person, Paediatric First Aid Trained and have attended the PARS Masterclass training.

We believe in providing quality, child led play. The focus really is on the children and supporting them to be happy and confident.

I really enjoy working across the age ranges and I see the benefit of the children interacting with each other across that spectrum. Younger and older children really enjoy playing in the same games.

Hi.

My name is Danny and I am a Play worker for TJ Kids.

I really enjoy setting up the sport activities and making sure the outside play spaces are full of the equipment children like to use in their play.

Children can get involved in team or individual games from basketball, football, skipping, dodge ball, bowling and even archery.

We always provide arts and craft materials, board games and a vast amount of construction resources especially the very popular Lego.
