The TJ Kids Wilderbase Project is aimed at children, young people, families and adult groups who want to get involved in a wide range of Forest School type activities and adventures ​with the opportunities to explore, learn about risk, find treasure, build confidence and a chance to escape in to a world of their own making and imagination in an outdoor environment.

​Try out Shelter Building, Fire Lighting, Outdoor Cooking, Team Building, Creative Arts and Outdoor Activities all based in a natural environment.

​The Wilderbase has been designed and built with the help of local children, young people and volunteers and has a  number of planting areas which have already produced some fine vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. With a mini orchard we are able to put up a hammock or two amoungst the trees so children can lay back and watch the leaves swaying in the wind, bird watch or read a book.

​Staff are trained at level 3 and level 2 in Forest School delivery along with Specialist Outdoor First Aid.

We work in partnership with Nurseries, Schools, Home School Groups and any other organisations who wish to use our space and participate in our Outdoor Classroom sessions. Activities are tailored to meet each specific groups needs and ages.

The Wilderbase is a fantastic space to use for a family BBQ, Themed Birthday Party, Outdoor Meditation, Yoga, Parent and Toddler Group meetings or for Team Building Activities.
